Server location: Currently our servers are located in Dublin, but other data centers will follow shortly.
VAT: Prices listed exclude VAT. If located in Belgium, 21% VAT will be added to your purchase. Otherwise, VAT is only applied if located within the EU but you do not have a VAT number.
Security: By using https all traffic between your server and ours is encrypted. On our server the data is un-encrypted in memory, because we need to do the merge of the template with the data. This un-encrypted state is only for the duration of the merge, no data is saved on our servers. The resulting file is sent back encrypted again.
APEX Office Print runs on your own local server (Linux, Windows, OSX). One time license fee, optional yearly maintenance and support contract from 2nd year onwards (1st year included in license fee).

Free Trial: You can try any AOP on-premises option on your own server, but the output contains a trial watermark until a license is purchased.
Advanced PDF Features: These include PDF form creation, PDF form filling, reading & querying PDF forms, signing PDFs, and locking/flattening PDFs.
Unlimited Reports: There are no report limits with the on-premises version.

Upgrading from one package to another can be done by paying the difference.

Each license package includes the ability to run AOP on 2 servers (machine ids) so that you can set one as the fail-over for the other. You can install AOP on a machine which can be reached by your different environments (DEV, TEST, QA, PROD) or install AOP on different machines to separate the environments. There's also the option to go with an Enterprise version which means you can install APEX Office Print on many different servers (6 by default, but on request we can agree on more).
Although AOP is built to be simple and user-friendly, you may find yourself needing more resources to convert your current reports to APEX Office Print. We offer a support and consulting package that covers exactly that.
In addition to building your reports we can train you on the job so you're up and running in no time. We're experts in Oracle Application Express, so we can even provide support for other APEX related issues you may be having.
